Had a dream Tuesday night that I’d burned through all of ST:TOS on Netflix and was like “oh no I’m out, what should I watch” and then suddenly remembered there was another Trek series from the 80s where Uhura was captain (and also there was a super-retro warm/earthy set & costume palette, and there was an Andorian bridge officer…)

I love this little girl. She’s still a kickass Canary fan, I’m told.

I have talked about this before, but she and her mom have a Kick Butt Girl shelf with all their action figures and toys featuring awesome chick heroes.

When my husband asked her to strike a battle pose, she IMMEDIATELY did the Canary cry with no prompting.

HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE THAT.
