Here’s my thing about blogging—and life in general.
Stay positive.
People suck and situations suck and it’s totally normal to dwell on that stuff for a while.
But when it comes to blogging online, just stay positive. You see hatred? Ignore it. Don’t acknowledge it or perpetuate it or respond to it or anything. Your blog should be dedicated to things you love. You shouldn’t have to defend yourself or the things you love against haters.
If everyone just focused on shit they liked rather than trying to degrade what they don’t, Tumblr would be a much happier place.
Assholes don’t have the right to make you angry. So don’t let them.
I try really hard to make this blog a happy place. Sometimes things slip, but for the most part I withhold my negative opinions and I try to keep my complaining to a minimum and allow this blog to be a relatively carefree place. Because, the way I look at it, I don’t want to accidentally make anyone’s day shitty, and I certainly don’t want to make my day shitty. And my day is certainly better when my dash is full of support and love for people and characters whom I also love.
So, follow other nice blogs, blacklist wisely, and, above all, stay positive.

The above article is an update. Her mother went to appeal to keep her out of the psychiatric ward and lost. She will be institutionalized because of her expression of her gender. She will be held until she conforms to male gender and then released to foster care, not her mother who was supporting her.
Please, if you haven’t signed the petition, sign it, reblog it, ask your friends to sign it. We’ve managed to get 40K signatures for a pageant model, we’ve only gotten 11K for a little girl about to have her life ruined. Lets get on the ball and spread the word.
I literally just repeated the f-word until I ran out of breath.
